Charlotte Business Journal reporter Elise Franco is leaving the publication for a new role at American City Business Journals, the parent company.
Franco has been also been a staff writer for the Charlotte and Richmond Inno markets, covering local technology, startups, growth and innovation through stories, events and a weekly newsletter the Beat.
She previously worked for the Spartanburg Herald-Journal as a business reporter covering companies such as Milliken and BMW. She was also a reporter at the Shelby Star in North Carolina and the Youngstown Vindicator in Ohio.
Franco holds a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.
