Will Cain

Will Cain, co-host of the weekend edition of “Fox & Friends,” will take over Neil Cavuto‘s slot on Fox News, reports Brian Steinberg of Variety.

Steinberg reports, “Cain will start in the new weekday role on January 21. The show will be called ‘The Will Cain Show,’ replacing ‘Your World.’

“‘Will Cain brings years of experience to the 4 PM hour as an accomplished broadcaster and a lawyer and we look forward to adding his insights to what will no doubt be another historic news cycle ahead this year,’ said Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media, in a statement.

“The network will bring a format to the hour that may be less familiar to veteran viewers. Cain’s new program, Fox News said, ‘will offer a comprehensive look at the news of the day in a signature podcast style.’ Cain’s last appearance on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ will come on January 18, and he will move to his new late-afternoon weekday duties on January 21. Charlie Hurt will replace Cain on the weekend program.”
