Mike Kiley of Fortune Media sent out the following on Wednesday:
Dear Fortune Team,
I’m pleased to announce that Lydia Randall has been named Vice President, Video for Fortune, and will be joining the Senior Leadership Team.
In this role, Lydia will lead the continued growth of Fortune’s video business, overseeing the expanding team and maintaining close collaboration with the newsroom, live media, and sales. Lydia will take the reins on the recently announced Fortune Daily, our new daily video show that will launch this summer. Lydia, currently Video’s Executive Producer, joined Fortune in January 2025, after working as a video journalist and producer at Strategy&, The Wall Street Journal, and Vice Media.
Lydia succeeds Adam Banicki, who is leaving Fortune to pursue a new opportunity. We’re very grateful for Adam’s many contributions – including building Video into a profitable and standalone business unit, launching new editorial franchises and vodcasts, and laying the initial groundwork for Fortune Daily.
Please join me in thanking Adam, and congratulating Lydia on this new role.
Best Regards,
