Fortune magazine has named Jeff John Roberts its finance editor, overseeing the intersection between money and power.
Roberts has been the magazine’s crypto editor and will still write about cryptocurrencies.
He rejoined Fortune in June 2022 after being executive editor at Decrypt Media. He previously covered legal issues in the tech industry for Fortune.
Roberts also was a reporter for Gigaom cover media and the legal industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
