Fortune names Hinchliffe its most powerful women editor

Fortune has promoted senior writer Emma Hinchliffe to the role of most powerful women editor.

“I’ll be leading editorial for this 28-year-old franchise, working with colleagues across the newsroom, live events, and more to bring to life our MPW brand through powerful reporting and storytelling year-round,” she wrote on LinkedIn.

She will continue to write and edit the MPW Daily newsletter.

Hinchliffe has been at Fortune since August 2018. She also has been co-chair of the MPW Next Gen Summit and co-chair of the Fortune-U.S. Department of State Global Mentoring Partnership.

She previously worked at Inman Group and Mashable. Hinchcliffe holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
