Fortune magazine has hired Indrani Sen as its senior features editor.
She will start in October.
Sen has been a culture editor for the New York Times opinion section since April 2021. Before that, she worked at Medium as editor in chief of Forge and then director of two other publications — GEN and ZORA.
She was also culture and lifestyle editor at Quartz, where she led the launch of that section.
Sen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
