Fortune magazine has hires Irina Ivanova as deputy editor for digital news.
She will be covering wealth, inequality, climate change and work.
She was most recently associate managing editor at CBS MoneyWatch, where she wrote stories and produced videos on housing, inequality, and climate change. Prior experience includes being a news editor at Huffington Post and reporter at Crain’s New York Business.
Prior to joining Crain’s, Ivanova was a freelance multimedia reporter for outlets such as Mother Jones, City Limits, The New York Times and Gotham Gazette. She is an alumna of She is an alumna of Amherst College and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
