Forbes announced the launch of its latest international edition, Forbes Uruguay, in partnership with HT Media.
The new Spanish-language publication is scheduled to launch online in July 2022 with editor-in-chief Marcela Dobal, former Business Editor of El País, at the helm.
“It is time for the dreamers and doers of Uruguay to share their stories – and we hope this will inspire new generations,” said Dobal in a statement.
“Uruguay has one of the most stable economies in the region, while becoming a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship,” said Alex Milberg, publisher of Forbes Uruguay., in a statement “Now, Forbes will be there to tell those stories.”
The magazine will publish bi-monthly, launching its first print edition in August 2022, and will also host local Forbes conferences and live events.
In addition to Forbes Uruguay, HT Media publishes Forbes Argentina and Forbes Ecuador. Forbes has local editions in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Dominican Republic, and Central America, with 47 licensed local editions around the world.
