Forbes has hired Anna Tong to cover artificial intelligence from its San Francisco bureau.
“I’ve always wanted to work at a magazine with great editors, and I’m excited tell deeper stories about the entrepreneurs and companies behind the AI revolution,” she wrote on LinkedIn.
She has been at Reuters as a tech correspondent covering the metaverse. She previously was data editor for the San Francisco Standard.
Tong also worked as vice president of product management at PolySign, and she managed the product and customer support teams at HomeLight. She was also a product manager for Ripple.
Tong holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.
