Forbes hires CoStar’s Hamilton as a reporter

Katherine Hamilton

CoStar Group reporter Katherine Hamilton has joined Forbes as a reporter.

She had been covering real estate news in Washington. She previously was a reporter for the Worcester Business Journal in Massachusetts covering the real estate and health care industries.

Hamilton was also a writer at RepresentUs. During her time there, she earned her master’s degree in community development and planning from Clark University, where she was the editor-in-chief at the student newspaper.

Previously, she has also worked at Main South Community Development Corp. and was an intern at Worcester Regional Research Bureau.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
