Bloomberg has appointed Lisa Fleisher as Middle East correspondent for Bloomberg Pursuits.
Bloomberg Pursuits covers cars, food, drinks, travel, watches, gadgets, fashion, and real estate.
In her new role, Fleisher will cover travel, food, watches, cars, real estate, art and more. Fleisher has been with Bloomberg since June 2016, and recently covered EMEA luxury lifestyle.
Previously, she was a schools reporter, tech reporter and editor at The Wall Street Journal. She was a real estate reporter and statehouse reporter at The Star-Ledger, and held the posts of Myrtle beach reporter and tourism industry reporter at The Sun News.
She also reported for The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune and the New York Daily News.
Fleisher was also managing editor at Washington Square News and an editorial assistant at The Associated Press.
Fleisher has a B.A. from New York University.
