Melissa Heikkilä
The Financial Times has hired Melissa Heikkilä as its artificial intelligence correspondent.
She will start on Jan. 27.
Heikkilä is currently senior reporter for artificial intelligence at MIT Technology Review, where she has worked since May 2022.
She previously worked at Politico Europe as an AI correspondent and a technology reporter. She also worked at The Economist as an assistant news editor and at Helsingin Sanomat, a Finnish newspaper.
Heikkilä is a graduate of the University of Helsinki.
