The Financial Post has hired Garry Marr as a columnist focusing on personal finance and real estate.
He will start in August.
Marr has been with CoStar News covering commercial real estate in Toronto.
He spent 18 years at the National Post covering real estate where his work appeared in most of the country’s major markets via the Postmedia Network, Canada’s largest newspaper chain. He has interviewed some of the biggest names in real estate, including the then future president of the United States, Donald Trump.
He holds a Masters in Journalism degree from Western University and is a graduate of the Canadian Securities Course.
