Financial Follies tickets are now available

The New York Financial Writers’​ Association‘s 81st Financial Follies will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Proceeds from the event support scholarships for the next generation of financial journalists and educational programming for working professionals.

Tickets for this year’s Follies are on sale now, with an early-bird discount that is good until Memorial Day. A table of 10 is $7,000 while an individual ticket is $700.

The New York Financial Writers’​ Association is a 501c3 organization, so tickets are tax deductible.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
