Dayna Fields has been hired by Octus, formerly known as Reorg, as a senior private credit reporter.
She has been at KBRA Direct Lending Deals for the past nine months covering private equity activity, private credit, and direct lending deals in the middle market.
Fields previously spent seven years as a senior mergers and acquisitions reporter with Mergermarket and Dealreporter.
Fields comes from Talcott Publishing, where she served as managing editor of three food-focused B2B publications, including Chef magazine for restaurants and Fancy Food magazine for retailers.
Fields previously reported for the Chicago Tribune; worked as editor of The Northbrook Tower weekly newspaper; and served as a copy editor for GateHouse News Service. In 2014, she won first place for Best Humorous Column from the National Newspaper Association.
She is a University of Missouri graduate in journalism.
