Fellowship opportunities are available for female journalists, journalists of color, and business journalists who represent underserved areas to attend the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing conference, April 3-5 at the Hyatt Centric Arlington just across the river from Washington, D.C.
The application deadline is 5 p.m. ET Friday, Feb. 28, 2025.
If you are a motivated female early/mid-career journalist searching for advancement, SABEW can help you meet your career goals. This fellowship offers complimentary registration and lodging at the conference hotel for Thursday and Friday nights for out-of-town attendees. This scholarship is in honor of former SABEW board member and Quartz Executive Editor Xana Antunes, who passed away in 2020.

The fellowship offers complimentary registration and lodging at the conference hotel for Thursday and Friday nights for out-of-town attendees. This scholarship is part of SABEW’s Sho Fellowship Fund, a professional development program in honor of SABEW board member Shobhana Chandra who passed away in February 2019.
