Fast Company has hired Rachel Kurzius as a senior design writer.
She will write about design in tech, business, culture, politics and more.
Kurzius reported on D.C. government and politics for the metro desk of The Washington Post.
She joined The Post in 2022 as its inaugural reporter for The Home You Own. Before that, she was a radio host and reporter for WAMU, D.C.’s public radio station, and DCist, the local news and culture site that she helped relaunch.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Bates College.
