Jessica Bursztynsky, associate tech reporter at CNBC, has been hired by Fast Company to cover tech.
She will start on Monday and cover the gig economy with an additional focus on consumer internet companies.
Bursztynsky spent three-and-a-half years at CNBC. She joined as a breaking news desk intern and then served as associate reporter, Embed.
She held reporter and editorial roles at The Daily Illini, University of Illinois’ student paper. She interned at The News-Gazette and worked freelance.
Bursztynsky graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in news-editorial journalism.
