Jordan Pearson, the executive editor of technology coverage at Vice, was among the layoffs earlier this week.
Pearson ran its Motherboard technology and science site.
He previously had been managing editor and a senior editor. He started at Motherboard as a staff writer and was executive producer of its “Cryptoland” documentary series.
Pearson holds a bachelor’s degree from Western University.
