Evening Standard promotes Hunt to biz and tech correspondent

Simon Hunt

Simon Hunt has been promoted to business and technology correspondent from his recent post of business reporter at the Evening Standard.

He joined as a freelance business reporter and has reported on the tech and leisure sectors.

Hunt served as editor-in-chief and associate editor of the Oxford Political Review, which covers current affairs, political theory and international relations. He also freelanced as a news reporter for Radio Jackie in London.

Previously, he worked as a reporter on the Wealth beat at Bloomberg.

Hunt has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree from City, University of London.
