Euractiv has hired Elisa Braun as its chief Brussels correspondent.
“I have been looking forward to announcing that Elisa is joining Euractiv for a long time,” said editor in chief Matthew Karnitschnig in a statement. “Her decision to join Euractiv is a show of confidence in us as we quickly become the indispensable source of EU news and analysis, and is further proof that we can and do hire the best, in order to be the best.”
Before being in Brussels for Politico, she was previously based in Paris where she covered French politics and lobbying scene. Prior to joining Politico, she spent three years covering tech for Le Figaro.
Braun graduated from Celsa-Sorbonne University.
