ETF.com promotes Day to managing editor

Ron Day

Ron Day has been promoted to managing editor at ETF.com, which covers exchange traded funds and investing.

He previously had been deputy managing editor for the past year.

Day had previously been freelancing for publications such as Investopedia and AARP. From 1998 to 2018, he worked at Bloomberg News as a reporter and an editor. As a reporter, he covered technology and commodities. He helped start the Bloomberg social media team, which monitors social and traditional media for breaking financial and general news.

He also was senior editor at ESG news outlet Karma Impact and covered general news at several New Jersey daily papers.

Day is a graduate of Northern Arizona University.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
