
ESPN has hired sports business reporter Ben Strauss, who was with The Washington Post.
At the Post, he was covering sports media and business, and writing about the biggest personalities driving the sports world and the money behind it. His work at the Post has been honored by the Associated Press Sports Editors and the annual Best Sportswriting anthology. He is the co-author of “Indentured: the Inside Story of the Rebellion Against the NCAA,” which won the PEN/ESPN Award for best sports book of the year in 2016.
Previously, he wrote about sports, media and politics for Politico and the New York Times.
Strauss is a graduate of Ithaca College.
