Enterprise editor Olsen departs Pensions & Investments

Kevin Olsen

Kevin Olsen, the enterprise editor at Pensions & Investments, has left the Crain Communications publication.

He switched over to that role from managing editor in 2024.

Olsen was with Pensions & Investments for more than 14 years and was also a news editor and online reporter.

Olsen previously worked as a reporter for The Regional News and The Reporter weekly newspapers, based in Palos Heights, Ill. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
