Nicole Wetsman has been hired by Endpoints News as its deputy editor for events and special projects.
She will start next week.
“Nicole will be responsible for working hand-in-hand with our journalists to develop ideas at the cutting edge of what people in biopharma and healthcare are talking about,” said executive editor Drew Armstrong on Twitter/X. “She’s also going to be responsible for growing our portfolio of great people features that highlight leaders in biotech across various communities.”
Wetsman is currently working in ABC News’ medical unit, as a producer working across their newsroom on complex health care stories. She also has a science education, and a stint at The Verge covering health tech.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College and a master’s degree from New York University.
