Endpoints hires Bayer to cover pharma

Max Bayer

Endpoints News has hired Max Bayer to cover the pharmaceutical industry.

He will start May 31.

He has been a senior writer for Fierce Biotech covering the people and businesses developing new drugs.

Bayer previously worked at CBS News, where he was recently a reporter and researcher. He has also served as a news associate and associate producer. He has also interned at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, WisPolitics.com, and CBS News, among others. He has also contributed to USA Today.

Bayer graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
