Dear Endpoints Readers,
We’d like to tell you about a partnership we’ve struck with the Financial Times that will take our news organization to the next stage of its exciting future.
On Friday, we signed a deal in which the FT has acquired a majority interest in Endpoints News, allying us with one of the best global brands in business journalism. Both the founders will continue — Arsalan Arif as CEO and myself as Editor-in-Chief — with a significant minority interest moving forward.
We couldn’t be more excited about this announcement. You can read more details about the partnership in the press release issued this morning.
This partnership will allow us to grow all of our teams faster than ever. Executive Editor Drew Armstrong continues to lead the editorial side of the business, with more hires to follow the big three we announced a week ago. Our new chief revenue officer, Ryan McRae, who joined us last month, is quickly building up our advertising and subscription businesses.
And we’ll do it while maintaining our fiercely independent brand of journalism.
So join us in celebrating a move that promises to make us bigger and better than ever, working every day to make Endpoints News an essential part of your day. Your support and involvement have made this possible seven years after Arsalan and I set out to bootstrap a company with no financial backing and big dreams.
You’ve made those big dreams a reality,
