She will manage a team of reporters who cover courtrooms across the country and organize coverage on the biggest legal cases.
Egkolfopoulou had been on the 2020 election reporting team before joining the personal finance desk.
Before the election, Egkolfopoulou had been covering real estate in New York. She previously worked on the corporate finance team and also covered the trial of Martin Shkreli. Before Bloomberg, she spent two years as a television reporter in Greece.
She is a graduate of Syracuse University and Cal-Berkeley.
