E&E News Congress reporter Emma Dumain is the new policy editor on the Politico Congress team.
She has been at E&E News since May 2020.
Dumain joined McClatchy in 2017 as a South Carolina correspondent covering delegation and state news from Capitol Hill. Two years later, she was promoted to her current post of Congressional leadership correspondent at the company.
Dumain was a D.C. correspondent for The (Charleston) Post and Courier covering delegation and news relating to the state coming out of Washington. She also served as a reporter at both Roll Call and Congressional Quarterly.
Dumain holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Oberlin College.
