Amy Carlile, the managing editor of E&E News, has left the energy and environmental news organization that is part of Politico.
“It’s hard to describe the greatness of the E&E newsroom,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “There is a reason why people stay or return (sometimes multiple times): It’s a place where you can grow and learn knowing that your colleagues are always there to support you. I hope everyone gets to experience that somewhere.”
She had been in that role for seven years and previously was editor of Energywire, which is part if E&E News.
Carlile was also deputy editor of Greenwire. She also spent five years at Roll Call as features editor and deputy managing editor.
She is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
