Nicholas Portuondo has joined E&E News full-time as a Congress and energy reporter on the daily team.
He previously was a reporting fellow.
Portuondo was also a news intern at The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington. He was also a media intern at the Union of Concerned Scientists, also in Washington.
Portuondo has a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy and science from Duke University and a M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
