John Edwards III, the former managing editor for weekends Americas at Bloomberg News, has been hired by the Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP law firm as a senior editorial manager.
Edwards spent seven years at Bloomberg, including time as team leader for US consumer, retail and luxury coverage and as an editor on the global business team.
He also worked for 16 years at The Wall Street Journal, including as Wall Street Journal/Dow Jones Newswires deputy business editor for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and three years at TheStreet.com.
Edwards is a graduate of Northwestern University.
