Editorial director Edwards departs crypto news service

Jim Edwards

Jim Edwards, editorial director for DLNews, a new cryptocurrency news service, has left the news organization.

He previously was the founding editor of Business Insider UK. Edwards joined Business Insider in November 2011 as a senior editor in New York. He moved to London in June 2014 to launch the UK edition. In September 2017, he become editor in chief of Business Insider UK and International.

Edwards previously was a columnist for CBS Interactive, and managing editor and senior editor for Adweek. He was also a senior writer for the New Jersey Law Journal and a senior writer for Brill’s Content.

He won the Neal award for business journalism in 2005 for investigating bribery in the advertising sector.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
