David Dykes has been hired as editor in chief of SCBiz, a Bridgetower Media publication in South Carolina.
He has been editor of Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly and Charleston Business Magazine.
He has worked at The Greenville News, Charlotte Observer and newspapers and magazines in Arizona, Ohio, North Carolina and Georgia. He was assistant business editor at the Observer and business editor at the News.
Dykes, a native of Shreveport, La., received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, where he majored in journalism.
