Ed Dufner has been named editor at large for Bloomberg Television.
He has been with Bloomberg since 2006 and most recently was a senior editor. He has also been deputy managing editor on the Americas news desk and an editor for Americas top news.
Dufner also spent nearly a decade as team leader for industrial and aerospace coverage.
He previously was Dallas Morning News assistant managing editor for business. He joined the Dallas daily as a copy editor, headed the project team that worked on “Dallas at the Tipping Point,” a 2004 section examining the city’s growth challenges.
He also served for seven years as the paper’s national editor and, in 1992 and 1996, oversaw the national political desk.
Dufner is a 1982 graduate of Northwestern.
