Dong returns to Law360 as a senior reporter

Xiumei Dong has returned to Law360 as a senior reporter covering law firms and their business and growth strategy.

She has been at Reuters as a legal business reporter since August 2021. She joined from Law360, where she was a senior reporter, covering legal industry news and issues.

She was also a business of law reporter at ALM Media. She was also a tech policy reporter at MLex Market Insight and has also worked as a business reporter and then as a tech, business, and national security reporter at Medill News Service.

She has also worked at The Associated Press, TODAY’S TMJ4, and Fox International Channels.

Dong has a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.

He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
