Dillard moves to US economy team at Bloomberg

Bloomberg News reporter Jarrell Dillard is moving to the U.S. economy team.

He has been covering Congress, with a focus on Democrats.

He previously has been on the economics team, and before that, he was on the breaking news team.

Dillard previously interned at 13NewsNow, a broadcast news station in Norfolk, Virginia.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and a master’s degree in business and financial journalism from New York University.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
