Marty Swant, Digiday senior reporter covering marketing and technology, has departed the news organization in a restructuring.
He has been with Digiday since June 2022. He previously was editor of the Forbes CMO Network and a staff writer at Forbes covering marketing, advertising and technology.
Previously, he was at Adweek, where he reported on emerging technologies including virtual reality, augmented reality, and blockchain. He also covered agencies, brands, and the growing intersection of Silicon Valley and Washington D.C.
He previously worked as a political reporter at the Associated Press and as a freelancer. He was also a business reporter at the Alabama Media Group and has interned at Standard & Poor’s.
Swant graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
