He reports on retailing in Polk and Dallas counties and surrounding areas, from large brands like Hy-Vee and Casey’s to hyper-local trend stories, features that spotlight the pulse of Iowa business and investigations that uncover what consumers in our area ought to know.
Schuman has been freelancing for the Lafayette Journal & Courier in Indiana.
He is a Purdue University graduate. While there, he was sports editor and summer editor of the Purdue Exponent.
