Business journalist Anthony DeRosa has been hired by Pluralsight, a technology education site, as vice president of newsletters and programming.
DeRosa has over 25 years of experience, including leading content and product teams at Reuters, Circa, The Wall Street Journal, and Pensions & Investments, where he was most recently as digital content director.
DeRosa led digital strategy at The Wall Street Journal, doubling its flat-lined subscriber base.
Before that, DeRosa was editor in chief of the news app Circa, which broke new ground on news summarization and led the way in mobile-first news thinking.
Prior to Circa, DeRosa was a well-known Reuters columnist, a TV host and he led social media and live coverage of breaking news events for Reuters.com.
He began his career with jobs as a web developer and product manager.
