Denver Business Journal tech reporter Nikki Wentling has left to work at Military Times covering disinformation and extremism.
Wentling has previously been a national reporter with Stars and Stripes, a U.S. military news outlet. During her six years at Stars and Stripes, Wentling covered breaking news and the inner workings of the Department of Defense and the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
Wentling also led several investigations at Stars and Stripes, including a deep dive into VA restrictions on benefits to Native American servicemembers and an ongoing supply shortage at the VA hospital in Washington, D.C.
At the Denver Business Journal, she had been covering technology, innovation and biotechnology. She also produced Colorado Inno’s newsletter The Beat.
