Jeff Benson has joined Andreessen Horowitz, a tech VC firm in Silicon Valley as a crypto editor for Future, a guide to technology and innovation.
He comes from Decrypt, where he worked as a staff writer and recently as a senior editor.
He has also worked freelance for various outlets. Additionally, Benson was managing editor of ETHNews, a daily news site specializing in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
Later on, he oversaw the publication of internal- and external-facing newsletters and blog posts as content director.
Benson has a B.A. from Willamette University and a MSc. from the University of Edinburgh.
