Debtwire’s Ragsley hired to be ME of LFI US Special Situations

Andrew Ragsly

Fixed-income journalist Andrew Ragsly has been hired as managing editor for LFI US Special Situations.

Ragsly spent more than 15 years at Debtwire, first as a reporter breaking news, until he became managing editor, a role he filled for the past 10 years. His tenure included overseeing the capital markets and special situations news coverage for the North America region.

“We are thrilled to have such a prominent journalist in the corporate credit information space join us, and expect he will be a key asset in accelerating the growth of our special situations product,” said LFI’s Special Situations product manager Max Frumes in a statement. “There isn’t a distressed debt reporting team out there, from the Wall Street Journal to Bloomberg to Reuters, that hasn’t hired star reporters who originally trained with Andrew.”

CreditSights’ Special Situations product combines in-depth credit research with breaking news sourced by the LevFin Insights team, and leverage’s Covenant Review’s document expertise.
