Kellie Ell has joined Debtwire as a senior investigative reporter to cover retail and consumer-facing companies. Her beat will include restructuring, debt, bankruptcies, leveraged buyouts and mergers/acquisitions.
Recently, Ell was a financial retail reporter at WWD. Before that, she covered all things business, including retail apparel, automobiles and motorcycles, cryptocurrencies and the market for CNBC. She interned at USA Today.
Ell has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Francisco State University and a master’s degree from The City University of New York.
