Los Angeles Times reporter Laurence Darmiento is now on the aerospace beat.
He has been covering wealth, deals and dealmakers for the publication.
Darmiento joined the Times in 2015 as an assistant business editor. He previously was editor of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. Prior to that, he spent six years as managing editor of the Los Angeles Business Journal, where he edited several stories honored by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers.
Darmiento, who attended Cornell University, has worked as a reporter at the Business Journal, Los Angeles Daily News and other local newspapers.
