Mitchell Parton, a residential real estate reporter at the Dallas Morning News, is leaving the paper for a new opportunity in Dallas.
He started at the paper in February 2022.
For the previous two years, Parton had covered the commercial real estate beat in San Antonio, writing for the San Antonio Business Journal. He’s covered major corporate real estate deals in the San Antonio area and broken stories about property sales and growth in that metro area.
Parton is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. While in school, he worked at the student newspaper.
