The Dallas Morning News has hired Brian Womack to cover retail.
He previously was at the Dallas Business Journal covering technology and a senior marketing writer at Amazon Web Services.
Womack previously worked as one of Bloomberg’s reporters in San Francisco, spending nine years covering companies such as Alphabet, eBay, Facebook, HP, Oracle, Twitter and Yahoo.
Prior to that, he was as a reporter at Investor’s Business Daily, the Orange County Business Journal and the Dayton Business Journal.
He graduated with a B.A. in journalism from the University of Oregon in 1996.
