Daily Mail hires Purkess as Money Mail reporter

Laura Purkess

Laura Purkess will join The Daily Mail as a Money Mail reporter.

Recently, she was news editor of Citywire’s New Model Adviser website.

Before that, she served as reporter and deputy online editor. She has also worked at MRM Communications, a public relations firm in London. She has also freelanced for HuffPost U.S., Medium and Mouthy Money.

She also won the NextGen Financial Journalist of the Year Award in 2020 and HeadlineMoney’s B2B Rising Star of the Year award in 2021.

Purkess graduated from Queen Mary University of London.
