Brandon J. Call, who was D CEO’s managing editor from 2018 to 2020, has returned to the publication as executive editor.
A story on its website states, “He joins from Neiman Marcus, where he wrote about luxury retail as a copy manager on the company’s creative team.
“While serving as D CEO’s managing editor, Call was instrumental in diversifying the publication’s content with profiles of under-the-radar executives and features such as “The Business of Pride.”
“‘Brandon is an exceptional writer and editor who has deep knowledge of North Texas companies and leaders,’ said Christine Perez, the publication’s editor. ‘He has a nose for news and a knack for peeling back the layers to get to the heart of a story.’
“As executive editor, he’ll focus on story development and editing and oversee D CEO’s commercial real estate platform, which includes a daily news site, weekly newsletter, print edition features, industry columns, and the magazine’s Real Estate Annual.”
