Maya Kaufman, a health care reporter at Crain’s New York Business, will leave after nearly two years with the outlet.
Kaufman’s last day is Nov. 30. She tweets:
“I can’t yet share where I’m headed, but I’ll be taking on a new journalism job in the New Year after some much-needed time off … so keep in touch!”
Previously, she was a local reporter/editor at Patch.com. She worked at Bloomberg on a contractual basis, where she provided reporting and investigative research for “The Shrink Next Door,” a podcast that launched in May 2019.
She interned at the Miami Herald Media Company, The Columbus Dispatch, CBS News, The Real Deal and New York Magazine’s The Cut.
Kaufman has a B.A. from Kenyon College and a M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
